I don’t know how else to explain it except…wow. It was awesome to watch. I almost lost my voice after Jayson Werth’s home run. Cliff Lee was beyond amazing, only managing to give up 3 hits. Carlos Ruiz really showed what kind of a catcher he is, ending the game with a gem of a catch. I’m so proud to call myself a Philly fan right now.
Wait wait, I know I didn’t forget about the Eagles pitiful effort in Oakland today, don’t you worry.
Normally, I never really write about football unless I’m praising Brett Favre (whom showed his amazing-ness yet again today, by the way) or posting crazy scores or the division standings. But, I feel like I need to say something.

The Raiders are the worst football team in the league, and you LOSE to them?? This makes no sense to me. I don’t think anyone had the Raiders picked in their football pools this week, and I’m sure they’re in a corner crying right now. I know I would be.
The Eagles didn’t even score double-digits. They didn’t score a touchdown. They kicked 3 field goals (thank you David Akers for putting us on the scoreboard). Wow.
Just saying, the Eagles should be 4-1. Just saying.
